We use Sawdust from Cordiners for animal bedding, it is clean, absorbent and non-dusty thus creating a very comfortable and easy to maintain product which has worked well as bedding for equines and other animals.

The Cordiner family has had a long and varied connection with the timber industry. Back in 1870 James Cordiner founded a business making wooden fishing boats in the little village of Cove, south of Aberdeen. Subsequent generations have continued the timber tradition and today James Cordiner, fifth generation of the founder, is engaged in running Cordiners Sawmills Ltd on the banks of the River Dee at Banchory.

It is important to we look after the environment that we live in. Timber is now recognised as one of nature’s most environmentally friendly products. It is renewable and sustainable and has unrivaled qualities compared with alternative man made materials.
